Browning Maternity | Nevada City Maternity Photographer

I met this gorgeous mama through a mutual friend who told me what an awesome esthetician she is. I make regular visits to Natalie, and when I found out she was expecting her third baby, I knew she would be the perfect model. As a Nevada City Maternity photographer, I’m always updating my session offerings and adding gowns to my collection. I wanted to test out some beautiful new custom gowns I had created, so I asked this beautiful mama if she’d be up for it. Not only is she gorgeous but she is also the sweetest person ever. Before our shoot she shared with me that she had always wanted to do maternity photos, but chickened out because she was too nervous. I just have to laugh now, because you would never imagine this woman would be nervous from these amazing portraits. She totally worked the gowns!

There is never a dull moment as a Nevada City maternity photographer- after being rained out on our first attempt, the weather cooperated and we met at one of my favorite spots. The location was just starting to show peeks of spring and the light that night was spectacular. We did this session during a very hectic week for us both- Natalie was hosting a huge benefit and I was in the middle of moving! I’m so glad we were able to squeeze in our shoot though, because I am so in love with all of her images!
