As a Beale AFB family photographer, I’m used to photographing a lot of families that move often. Such is life in the military! I had such a fun time doing this shoot with Silke and Michael to commemorate their stay at Beale. They have been at the base for a few years and are about to PCS, but wanted a sweet reminder of their time here. Silke told me she wanted to do the shoot close to Beale, so we decided on this awesome spot just off base. I love shooting here because it is always so wild and beautiful. Because it’s a wildlife area, sometimes we get unexpected visitors, but normally their just cows!
The couple brought their two fur babies with them, Zeus and Zoey (I’ll let you figure out which is which, lol). These two dogs must be the most photogenic dogs! They were such great models and I loved capturing their sweet family. I’m quite certain these dogs have done some modeling, and if not, they might want to consider it! Zoey especially was a ham for the camera. I think she knows she looks good in front of the camera!
