I hope you had a fabulous Halloween. We celebrated all day this year, starting with a horse dress-up party and ending with the magical Pumpkin Path at Live Oak Waldorf. My two oldest kiddos just started riding lessons at the fabulous Equine Partners and they are in love. The ladies over at EP had the fun idea of hosting a Halloween party where the kids got to dress up the horses! Everyone had a blast (well maybe not the horses) and it got our day off to a great start. After decorating the horses, they had a parade and an optical course for the kids.
We had a mellow afternoon and then got dressed up for a magical evening. For the last few years we have headed over to Live Oak Waldorf for their Pumpkin Path, but this year we added in a short round of trick-or-treating in downtown Nevada City. I’ve never seen anything quite like the festivities that occurs there for Halloween. The amazing residents go all out and there is such a feeling of community and celebration. My kids were more excited to visit the houses than they were about the actual candy! Here are a few photos from our day <3
